5対話文の読解（2点×4＝8点）
次は、カズキ（Kazuki）とシンイチ（Shinichi）の対話です。これを読んで、あとの問いに答えなさい。
Kazuki:What are you reading, Shinichi?
Shinichi:It's a book about haiku. I have been reading it since 10 a.m. It's a little difficult, but it's interesting. Look. Haiku have been important in Japanese culture for centuries. Japanese people have written haiku for a long time.
Kazuki:I learned about haiku when I was in elementary school. It was very interesting, and I wanted to learn more.
Shinichi:Haiku are different from traditional English poems. First, they are not written in sentences. They use only a few words. Second, the lines do not have to rhyme. Third, a seasonal word must be included. English poems are usually longer, and rhythm is very important in them. Haiku use three lines — five, seven, and five syllables long.
Kazuki:That's great. Who is your favorite haiku poet?
Shinichi:Shiki. I have been reading his haiku since I first read them in junior high school.
